before the end of the music year's contract term has been completed.
The Musical Express' studio contract that I signed at the beginning of the music year is based on a 40-lesson calendar year that runs from August 2024 - July 2025; and the yearly tuition rate is conveniently broken up into 11 monthly payments of either $83/month for the 15-minutes timeslot, $113/month for the 30-minutes timeslot, or $135/month for the 45-minutes timeslot.
Although I am submitting advance notice (minimal 30-days) that my student will be terminating lessons temporarily or indefinitely, my financial responsibility for any remaining tuition of the music year's contract will be evaluated and determined by the owner/director, Ms. Temeka Davis.
Studio families who do not honor The Musical Express' year-round contract agreement and wish to re-enroll at the start of the new
music year will have to wait until after a 6-months withdrawal period.​​​​
Although your student may not be able to attend all of the lessons slotted for the music year or participate in every piano activity and/or event, the contract for The Musical Express is set to cover dates on the calendar between August 2024 - July 2025. Our families who honor the contract terms are given top priority in both registration and lesson selection. It can be equated to if your student was enrolled in private school and your family would not be attending school during specific timeframes ... the tuition would still be due.
