Events & Field Trips

To continuously enhance our students' appreciation for Fine Arts, there is nothing better than experiencing it first hand. Music & Performance Events are offered to The Musical Express through the Augusta, Georgia, and National Music Teachers Associations. The field trips we attend are chosen from a local selection of kid-friendly / family oriented Fine Arts Programs. The Musical Express also offers Community Outreach Recital opportunities; and hosts an annual Grand Spring Recital to celebrate the musical growth and accomplishments of students at the end of the year.

Augusta Music Teachers Assn (AMTA) presents 2012 PIANO FESTIVAL

Date: Saturday, February 25th

Time: approximately 9:00am-4:00pm

Location: Augusta State University's FINE ARTS BUILDING(Augusta, GA)

PIANO FESTIVAL is for all students regardless of age, ability, or length of study. Students will be evaluated against a standard of excellence according to their own musical skill set -- not judged against one another. Thus, ALL students are winners!

The Musical Express advocates our students participating in this event to build confidence in their playing and provide personal goals for progress in their piano studies. We feel that PIANO FESTIVAL not only promotes excellence, but helps each student to discover the joy of making music.
